We wanted to do a Team DeMello Launch from our shop in Corona, anyone is welcome. We are going to be on the slow boat to Ouray saving gas by driving around 70mph not 85 like I did last time. We are also going to make frequent stops to allow babies and kids to pee and do there thing. Were going to make a stop somewhere in AZ to meet up with our AZ peeps.
I have a feeling our caravan will have two sections that will meet up every so often and at the end of the day at our destinations. I picture the faster group will be in the front while the slower group will be in the back.
Last time I felt our caravan was pretty well done, no one really stopped for anyone when they had to pee but everyone always caught up. If you keep the group speed at around 70mph the people that stop may have to do 80 to catch up or just meet up at the next stop. It seemed to work good last time.
Once I get back from having baby I'm going to work on a driving schdule and put together a list of people. So if you or anyone wants to be on the Team DeMello Caravan from Corona to Ouray let me know, I may even do a pizza night at one of our stops where I buy everyone in our group pizza. We are trying to think of cool things to do along the way.
