The 6" kits all use their own knuckle. I will say the RC kit's knuckle is much beefier that the stock one. I don't have a single worry about it ever bending like the stock ones have been doing. That extra beef however requires the wheels to have a bit less backspacing. I think it is worth it. I am running stock alloys but I also have 2" wheel adapters/spacers.
