Re: TRANSACTION FEEDBACK FOR BUYERS / SELLERS: Post here

Your role in the transaction: (buyer)

Person who you conducted business with: (Matt07FJ)

Description of the transaction: (Rear sensor)

Comments about the transaction: (see below).

Your rating of the transaction: 0

This is the moderator, Matt07FJ who is not too active here anymore and is selling his FJ. He may have other transactions that went better. This is just my single experience with him...

I purchased a small lightweight part (rear sensor) from Matt. It took me about a month to get a response after sending payment, he said he was really busy. Still nothing a month or so later and then after a few attempts to contact him, he said it was shipped "in the mail". Then another month and no part. I ask again what happened and it was magically "un-sent" and he was still really busy, but would get it out.

Another wait, and he said sorry he just hadn’t the time to send it, but he will refund. Whoa Nellie! I don't want a refund, just the part after all this time if you have it (?) He will look for it or send it if he can. It was principle after all this wait, not the price. I really don’t want to post again in the classified. I had turned down a subsequent offer and that part was now gone with a lot of my time pursuing this.

PM's sent mid March were ignored (although he continued to post elsewhere) so I made a post in the thread where he is selling his FJ (with a relevant piece of info as well) and he finds the time to respond via PM after deleting the post I made to his for sale thread.

I can deal with someone saying "sorry the part is now unavailable" but to go on and on saying they will get it out without any effort to even look (as still evidenced by his PM on Friday) shows a lack of courtesy to my time and is just plain maddening.

UPDATE...in the message he sent Friday, he said he was finally going look for the part. He was a little perturbed that I had incorrectly claimed 5 months (I removed that), he asked what I wanted him to do? Post up what a low life he is? Matt is not a low life. I just thought the whole thing was weird and merited notice to others who may choose to deal with him. Just add this to the mix.
