The maps are 'locked' to your specific GPS, so it's unlikely you'll find a liberated version.

I've been making custom maps for Colorado for the last few months. It's quite technical, but is very possible and very rewarding. The instructions are for US data, so you're mileage may vary for Canada stuff, but I bet you can get it done.
