If the tint is done right, they will remove your doors panels for the front windows.

I had a strip put along the top of my windshield, 4 inches from the top which is what is legal in California. I instantly hated it because driving through hilly San Francisco became even tougher when I went down a step decline, it cut off too much of my vision. The contrast between the clear windshield and the tint also gave me a bit of a headache. I ended up ripping it off, wasting $100 at the same time. Just my two cents so you have all the info. I did tint the sides windows (which is illegal I guess) and I don't regret that at all, love it!
