Since the FJ has a tendency to draw certain professions as their owners, I'm curious who else out there is a fellow LEO with an FJ Cruiser. (I've seen at least a half dozen of ya so far.)

Post up if you're a cop (active / retired / former) with an FJ and why you bought it. Your agency(s)? Let's see some on-duty pics.

I am a disabled Deputy Sheriff (I am only 40)-on duty injury (Ohio). After my injury, we moved to Vermont, then my wife got a job in North Carolina (current location).

I will be buying my FJ at the end of this year, or right in the beginning of January of next year.

At the present time I own a Rubicon, and to be honest, I am not that much into off roading (but I like to have the 4 wheel capability in case I need it).

I was going to buy a regular Wrangler, however with my LE Discount, and some incentives, I bought the Rubicon.

I don't like to buy the same car over and over, I like change. My Rubicon is an 04 (just payed it off as well

I like the FJ for its looks, size, and because Toyota is such a great vehicle (plus it's 4 wheel drive-in case I need it, or go visit the mountains, or someone in the snowbelt.

I also need the spacing for my dogs (German Shepherd and Border Collie/Shepherd mix).

If spacing wasn't an issue, I would actually consider the Subaru Impreza WRX STI (I had the WRX in the past, and loved it)-STI version is much nicer.

If I could afford it, I would actually like to own a Landrover Defender.
