Re: Warn M8000 Winch Group Buy - One week only!

I'm really just bumping to help out, but if anyone feels like answering this I would appreciate it:

Should I go ahead and buy a snatch block to use with my shiny new M8000 winch? The WARN snatch blocks are like $75! Ouch! That's a lot for a single pulley. Granted, an "indestructible pulley", but really...how much has anyone ever used their snatch blocks?

Thus far I've collected a tree saver, gloves, snatch strap (not to be used with the winch, I understand), several D shackles, a rear receiver-mounted clevis and of course the winch and power cut-off solenoid. Not yet convinced I need a choker chain, snatch block or additional recovery (non-stretching) strap.

By the way...BUY ONE OF THESE WINCHES...IT'S A GREAT DEAL!!!!
Good question, balancing recovery gear priority with budget. Where did you find the shackles and receiver w/ clevis?
