Hmmmm... I admit that I'm hard on my vehicles and have owned and driven many with manual transmissions. I've smoked the clutches on a few of them in the past a time or two and never had any major problems with them afterwards. I also haven't had any problems with the clutch on my 6 MT FJ so far.
