Do not feather the clutch !... You really don't need
to, the FJ has an abundance of power... You just
need to get the FJ rolling a tad from a full stop, and
you are good to go, then let the engine pull you, not
the RPM's and feathering, or you will burn the clutch !...
The old toyota 5speed pickups with the four bangers,
the ones I had in the 80's IMO anyway, had too much
of a gap between the gears, and when off roading in
certain situations, you had to feather the clutch to
keep you momentum up... Again, as far as the FJ and
the MT6, with it being AWD, adds alot more pressure
to the drivetrain, which works the clutch much harder
then the ol' toyota from back when...
