Don't get too freaked out just yet, you are looking at a commercial sensational media report
By Sunday we should have a good indication how full the rivers will be with the hot days ahead. It takes a few days to a week of steady 75-80 to create any significant more then usual spring river rise. All the the models predict a longer then usual high river condition because of the massive snow pack but unless it rains a lot right after a week or so of really hot days most of the water sheds can handle the run off. Now up in the water sheds you will get some drastic changes but not with a couple 80 degree days. Additionally the massive snow pack also restricts how much melt off can occur. The snow both insulates in this case cold and retains water so don't get out your waders just yet
I plan on going up to my secret spot right next to a good flowing creek. I expect it to be very full but not run for the hills full
