b.withoutremorse, on your estimate/invoice/bill/receipt/etc. it should list the parts you paid for.

For example, besides the glass and labor, there may be a part listed, such as 'OEM molding". This may refer to the white trim piece that goes across the top of the windshield. This Toyota piece is expensive(approx. $300-$400) and is often hard to remove without damage because of the windshield/trim adhesive helping to hold it and the windshield.

It's a good idea to always get a written estimate, even if you plan on getting the work done at the shop. If some part is added later, have it explained in writing, at minimum, on the final bill.
