Re: Guns.
In reading this thread I'm not really sure of the op's target (i.e. defense, people, animal, camping, emergency, etc..), but I'll add my two cents anyhow. I've shot lots of guns over the years and probably my all-time all-around favorite, if I could only have one, is a S&W 686 with target sights and grips, combat trigger and 6" barrel. It's very easy to use, accurate as can be, stainless steel, shoots 38's or 357's, rat/snake shot, hollow point's or ball. I've shot 500 rounds or more in a single outing/match and not even been tired. Old school certainly, but if I could only take one that would be my choice. For a long gun, in my part of the country, it would be an 870 express or 30-30 carbine.. Ron
