It wont get lost to me, and when I make a change it will come to the top of the forum and hopefully people who are INTERESTED in the changes will be SUBSCRIBED to the thread so they'll get notification.

We dont have room for areas that are unecessary, IMHO. You can create a million "FJ Topic" -- but are all of them necessary? Are some of them redundant? I mean, is it worth it to have a section thats going to get maybee 5 or 6 threads a month? IMHO, Its not.

3) My thoughts on do it yourself were for the various installs and stickys posted...would generate more members to post their topics in a dedicated area than just Admin selecting one or 2 "good posts". Also different from slef help...whihc is more at rying to fumble through forum operations and activities. As a newbie at one time, I can attest that if you're not a super techno, doing just basic posts can be challenging.

I still dont see the difference between a DIY and a HowTo section. Unless you mean the DIY would be directed at the FJ, and the Howto would be directed at how to operate on this forum, in which case thats what the forum FAQ is for:

Different strokes for different folks I guess. We cant please everyone at everything... and I think you had some great suggestions that we will be implementing, but I dont think we will implement all of them.
