Re: seat wearing out
I have seen some wear on mine, but I have 32K on it. You must remember that this is a different type vehicle than most have had before. You are normally sliding down over the edge and a regular car you are standing up.
I have had leather and see the same thing happen on any off road type vehicle that sets higher.
I put Wet Okule on mine and have not seen them wear at all. But under no circumstance were mine worn to need the seat covers. Just a preference.
