Can someone, anyone, anywhere, post pic's of the FJ transfer case skid install. I got mine and I'm ready to install it. It seems easy enought to install, but I would like to see it, so that I won't unnessaily do something wrong. Which bolt, washer go where? Thank's for the help.
Hey Terry, do I have my bolts in the right place in the photo?
here is the thread I foudn them in All Pro Skid Plates... post 39. Get us some more pictures once you get it installed.

I knew jeshua was going to help. Post 39 pics helped. there are these long bolts, that I think go through the frame. A pic shows that. kinda, and then there are these black thread bolts. What ever they are called, which I'll have to drill a pilot hole. a pic show that too. Plus I got alot of washers. huh? I'll definitely post my Pics when done. I still don't got it. Happy Easter jeshua.
Hope you got it done DustPark.
If not I would have to guess that the black ones will go in the cross member to frame as the frame would most likely have the holes with nuts welded to the inside. Then the other 4 bolts would be to connect the skid to the existing cross member check to see if there are any exisiting holes in it that line up with the holes in the skid I am going to guess that there are at least 2 that the short blots will go through on the passanger side then the last 2 long ones will replace 2 of the existing bolts that are in the cross member on the driver side.
Washers two on each end small then big with the big one against the object being bolted and the small ones against the bolt head / nut. You have it right in your picture.
Just a guess, maybe terry will show up in here to tell us how it is realy done.
lets see those pictures now.

Last night I got under there and took a good look. I layed it out right on the cement. (My first Pic). I am going to do it tomorrow after work. I will post the pic's. I redid my carrage light job last week , now I have to find a spot for the conduit after the skid install. Terry doesn't have to show up, He is going to the So Cal meet and greet this weekend. So am I. We should all give him a pink belly.
From the pictures there is plenty of space around it. Na, don't worry about the heat. Climbing the mountains with the air conditioner on and pulling a trailer in 107 degrees, Ya, well maybe...
