Allpro Bullbar addition?

Im getting the small bullbar (hopefully arriving this week) and was wondering If anyone has been able to install it with the bumper already installed on the truck. As you may know, the bumper and winch is a major PITA to wrestle on and off the truck.

I took a look at it, and can definitely access the bolts on the backside on the driverside, but the passenger side will provide a challenge.

I don't think you'll be able to do it if you have a winch inside the bumper. I did my light bar after the bumper was installed, but my winch was not installed yet. A couple months later I got the winch installed and it is definitely a PITA to remount once all that weight is in there. You'll need at least another pair of hands to help you.

I was told that once the winch is in, you gotta take the whole thing off to install the light bar.

Re: Allpro Bullbar addition?

I just received it today, and it looks easy to do. I assumed theyre would be 8 nuts to wrestle with on the backside/inside of the bumper, but there are 2 large backing plates with threaded holes. I'll be doing this tomorrow if it doesnt rain, and will post up some pics and a quick "how-to"

Re: Allpro Bullbar addition?

Yeah, the nuts sucked... we came up with the threaded plate idea and it works excellent!
