When do you guys think it will be ready? And what kind of price range? WIll it be similar to the hybrid 60 setup you now offer?

We are waiting for the front axles to arrive (should be here by Friday) and we will begin developing the kit - will be ready this summer

Keep us posted, I would be interested if the price is right.

Lol...every vendor knows that the price is never right.

I'm curious to see this mod when it's done. Wondering if it's going to be a 6" lift setup with giant tires or if you can keep it relatively low (3" lift) but still gain the strength and flex.

It would be great if I had a clue, but let's face it, that's just not gonna happen.

Re: Solid Front Axle

I talked to Pepe at allpro and he said it might be around the price of their hybrid 60 axle. It is on their website and it runs around $5,000. I think the parts are custom fabbed and from a f450.
Beefy as hell and I cant wait!

Re: Solid Front Axle

...As much as one day I will SAS my FJ...I cannot justify spending (I'm guessing if the front axle is 5k, + parts/labor) spending near 10k making a truck that has 44K in it undrivable on the highway. If you're going to thrash a rig that bad with trails that require that kind of suspension, I don't understand why you're driving an '07 model! My two cents...

On that note, I DO plan on acquiring an older 4runner/taco that is already swapped and adding some All Pro goodies!

Again though, I do not see that many FJ owners SASing at this point, though I'm sure there will be a few who do! For those who decide to go ahead with it, AP makes some awesome products, and I'm sure you'll be happy with the performance/durability of their goodies!

Why, IYO, would doing a SAS make the FJ "undriveable on the highway"?
