All-Pro's Roof Rack pre-order and pricing info

Already seen pics of our new roof rack? Sleek, low profile, all steel, light mounts front AND rear, and about 80 lbs in complete full length form? This new design modular rack is the next hot part being released from All-Pro Off Road and here is the info you have been waiting for:
The racks are getting ordered for the first production run within the next week. They will be sold as a full rack system only at this time, but since everyone is getting different vibes on the color, we are going to offer it 2 ways - bare or black. We will NOT be offering other colors other than black, so if you want it white, silver, or any other color, you will need to purchase it bare and have it painted or powdercoated locally once it arrives to you. We are working on new accessories for the rack system like Hi-Lift jack mounts, Jerrycan mounts, and outdoor sporting equipment setups to carry bikes, skis, snowboards & kyaks, more info on these accessories as they are developed. The great news is we were able to kep it under the Gobi price point as everybody (us included) hoped!
EDIT: Dimensions & ratings are as follows: 45" wide x 76" long x 6" tall. Overall it sits about 1" taller in the center than the factory rack, lower at the rear. The rating on weight will be the same as factory (165 lbs), and same as ARB tech support rates theirs at loaded while driving. Parked it will handle more. The final production units will be bead rolled center pans, with the front and back supported by beams, and the center sections reinforced by the connection flanges. There will not be tubes running below the floor pans because they just arent needed for what the rack is rated for. (We dont want to exceed manufacturers ratings for warranty & liability reasons, as well as the imitations of the factory hardware & factory mounting location strength) The rack WILL have round tube crossbars as an option & be compatible with Yakima accessories

Pricing is as follows -

Bare steel, full rack including internal tiedown system $999
Black powdercoated, full rack including internal tiedown system $1099

We will be accepting pre-orders beginning tomorrow afternoon by phone at our shop at 951-658-7077, and we encourage everyone interested to get your orders in so we know how many to order on our first production run so we dont run out early. This is introductory pricing, there will be no group buys available on this rack, sorry. Once the pre-orders are in, we expect to begin shipping racks in about 5-6 weeks.

Re: All-Pro's Roof Rack pre-order and pricing info

If anyone south of LA is going to buy this great new AP rack and has the stock one, I'd be very interested in adopting it for a fair price.

Thank You. Please keep me in mind.

Re: All-Pro's Roof Rack pre-order and pricing info

I also wonder about the bottom panels, I see that there are main ribs, and the pans have smaller ribbing(for her pleasure?) on the top side, are there also support ridges underneath that we can't see or is it jus some nice thick metal? I would hate to have it sag upon throwing some stuff up there. still the best looking rack out there, for trucks I mean.
