I can't speak for All Pro but some of us have looked at the limiting strap option with a disconnect for trail use and it's a bit of a pain. It's different if you have a long travel solution with the limiting strap integral to the racing suspension...but for stock, it didn't seem worth the hassle.
What he said. Disconnects just do not look like an easy (or safe) option on this vehicle.

These are a great upgrade for anyone who wheels with the sway bar connected (most of us)...I've seen the factory mount break, and it takes out the CV boot - which means replacement cv shafts if dirt gets in (it will).
An inexpensive way to protect against an expensive repair...
Nice work , Terry...

Exactly! I even designed a fairly nice strap & disconnect, but it flexed and I never really trusted it. I did not find the articlation considerably better either - not like on a TJ or something.
TERRY!!! I sent you a PM. Please do not sell all these without putting a set aside for me. I have an early AM meeting but will call afterwards. My card should be on file. Them are some freshy units!!!!
Keep in mind that the extra droop you would get with the sway bar disconected will increase your CV angle and letting the bellows on the boot rub - endangering both your CV joints and boots, neither of which is a pleasant item to replace. Disconnects have a great effect on solid axle vehicles, not so on IFS trucks. When a solid axle truck compresses up on one side the leverage effect forces the opposite side down, increasing its traction & thus having the sway bar restricts this flex. On IFS suspensions if the one side is coming up, the opposite side is just hanging there & isnt being forced down in contact with the terrain you are trying to get traction on, usually just letting the wheel spin, so it wnt do you any good, it will just increase wear on those expensive CV joints & boots from too much droop.

Re: NEW PRODUCT: Ultimate Sway Bar Links
I should be calling on Monday or Tuesday depending on when AirCanada gets me back someplace with a phone I can recognize and if I can remember where I hid my credit card. If I can figure out of this is a good thing or not needed with the Long Travel suspension.

Why did you develop links instead of a disconnect system?
Just curious about this because they look good and beefy but I don't wheel with my swaybar on as I assume most people who really wheel wouldn't to acheive the extra flex.
Just to add a little, There is NO WAY to make a
disconnect system for the FJ by using the stock
bar and having disconnectable links, the design
tolerances within the CV, knuckle, LCA's, Etc.
area is too tight... That being SAID !!...
Terry... VERY NICE LINKS and great insurance
for those who flex their rigs !!!... Thank You !!...
