Bilstein Low Cost Front Lift!

Bilstein now offers a height adjustable front shock that re-uses your factory coils and gives you up to 2.5" of lift for only $99 each! All Pro has these in stock and ready for immediate delivery, call and order yours now.

Bilsteins Promo material states:
Bilstein announces a new offering of height adjustable 5100 Series replacement shocks for
coilover design front suspension pickups. These new coilover style shocks utilize the vehicle’s
existing stock coil spring, with applications available for the 2004-06 Toyota Tundra and
Tacoma (AND FJ!), Ford F-150 and soon to include the Nissan Titan.
An extremely simple and affordable alternative to much higher priced systems, these new
5100 Height Adjustable shocks feature multiple snap-ring grooves on the body of the shock
to accommodate different spring seat positions, allowing height adjustments from 0" to 2.5",
depending on the application. By raising the spring seat position, you can alter the factory
rake to achieve a level front to rear ride height while accommodating up to 33" diameter tires.
The shocks feature vehicle specific split digressive valving and Bilstein’s industry leading high
gas pressure monotube technology.
As with all 5100 series shocks, these new height adjustable shocks provide superior
performance characteristics, feature bright Zinc plated bodies and come with a lifetime
aftermarket warranty. Bilstein also offers companion rear 5100 shocks with matched valving.
Bilstein designs and manufactures shocks for most cars, trucks and SUVs.

Re: Bilstein Low Cost Front Lift!

Even cheaper - this shock uses a stock spring so you dont have to buy OME's - you just:
  1. Remove your stock front shocks
  2. Remove the top coil hat from your stock shock
  3. Pull off the stock spring,
  4. Put the c-clip in the position you want on the Bilstein shock body
  5. Slide over the Bilstein supplied spring seat to lock the c-clip in place and support the coil
  6. Compress the coil and install the spring hat
  7. Bolt it into the vehicle

You're done, enjoy your new front lift for under $200! To make it even better we have a blowout sale going right now for rear 2" coil spacers from DayStar for only $59!

Re: Bilstein Low Cost Front Lift!

I'm guessing you can use these with the OME 884 coils ?

Shane4x4

This is in the vendor section. While your post might be most welcome in the general discussion area, I doubt that it is proper here.

Re: Bilstein Low Cost Front Lift!

Dont flame me on this question. My FJ came with a revtek spacer lift( I know what you are saying) I added a front bumper with winch and it droped down about an inch to inch and a half. Can I use these in conjunction with the spacer lift to get the height back? I know better coil overs are the way to go but that is not an option at this time.

With these you can ditch the spacers all together most likely. not positive on having both but I would think you could.
