Discounts

Are we getting any discounts at All-Pro? Who should I call or email and what shall I mention?

They have Fox coilovers + UCA for sale.
I need just UCA.

Re: Discounts

So All-Pro doesn't have a discount for forum members...? Why they are in supporting vendors if we're buying stuff at the same price as others from internet? Am I missing something?
When I was dealing with ToyTec, I was told that we have 10% off as forum members. This was good deal. I thought All-Pro should of have something similar. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Discounts

They already have to pay to be on this site plus they offer some pretty good deals on their stuff from month to month. If you wait a while the UCAs could go on sale by them selves (although more likely part of a coil-over package).

I understand that they are paying to be here, but another person can just go to their website and buy things at the same price as we do. I think if you are supporting vender you can make discounts, such as % of the deal or fix amount. As of the amount they are paying here - this is called advertizing, all companies paying those expenses to be known and it has nothing to do with us. This just my 2c, but that is how the market is working.

Re: Discounts

We are supporting vendors in the sense that we pay to advertise here and keep this board up and running. We want to be able to post up new product info, sales on parts, and events.

We have sales almost monthly on different products, but there is no blanket discount because nearly every FJ customer is a member of some forum board. Internet forums arent like Costco where you have to pay a yearly membership fee entitling you to discounts all year long, they are free.
