Re: Fox 2.5" Rear Reservoir Shock Preview

It is the same length and mounting points as the 2" which does fit the Tacoma, but we havent physically put a 2.5 on one yet - when Sarah has her 05 Taco here tomorrow we will test fit it to make sure.

No compression adjustment on 2.5's front or rear. That's why we have to spend extra time getting the valving right. And even then it's only 100% correct to the person actually providing the feedback. Still the ride quality is 100 times better than stock and hopefully most people will love them. I've been working with Walker and Fox to develop 2.5" adjustable valving and both think it's very cost prohibitive right now. Maybe something will happen to change that in the future.

To me if they are set up right , they really don't need ajustments.

I agree. But my truck is overweight and the weight difference between loaded and unload is ~1000lbs.

They are adjustable by nitrogen psi. Not as slick as the dial, but still tunable.
Jon, thanks, I can see the Fox rear 2.5's and 3 1/2 " coils in my near future.

Pretty soon my fj will be more All-Pro than Toyota!

You should join us at Tillamook State F0rrest for Cruisin' the Woods '08, Sept 27th , just outside Portland Oregon.

We need sponsors of your caliber!

Thanks again-Bill
