Why not a heim joint on the spindle end of the rod?
....maybe a weld-on double shear conversion?

We will have that option available also. We want to have a complete bolt on set up with no welding or drilling of the spindle. Of course you will be able to use the double Heim style with no drilling or welding as soon as we release our 4130 spindle and A-Arm set up. (coming soon)

For those who are running anything harder than moderate trails this will provide great peace of mind, and for those running the hard trails it’s a downright necessity. As the participants of the recent Clawhammer FJ Challenge run can attest to, the FJ steering has a definite weak point in the inner joint and tie rod assembly. We have solved that problem by replacing the inner joint with a custom machined billet yoke, coupled to a chromoly rod end, attached to DOM steel tie rod link – this will end your breakage problems! Releasing soon, we will post up prices hopefully next week and begin taking pre-orders shortly thereafter.

And when do you expect these kits(single & double heim) to be available?
