Why not a heim joint on the spindle end of the rod?
....maybe a weld-on double shear conversion?
Just an idea.

either way I'm down for a set.
We will have that option available also. We want to have a complete bolt on set up with no welding or drilling of the spindle. Of course you will be able to use the double Heim style with no drilling or welding as soon as we release our 4130 spindle and A-Arm set up. (coming soon)

All Pro is proud to announce the development of a heavy duty steering linkage upgrade kit for the FJ Cruiser. For those who are running anything harder than moderate trails this will provide great peace of mind, and for those running the hard trails it’s a downright necessity. As the participants of the recent Clawhammer FJ Challenge run can attest to, the FJ steering has a definite weak point in the inner joint and tie rod assembly. We have solved that problem by replacing the inner joint with a custom machined billet yoke, coupled to a chromoly rod end, attached to DOM steel tie rod link – this will end your breakage problems! Releasing soon, we will post up prices hopefully next week and begin taking pre-orders shortly thereafter.

Very nice! Time to upgrade my stock steering to HD steering. Chris

It's probably too early to ask , but will your new spindle work with the Total Chaos LT system?

And when do you expect these kits(single & double heim) to be available?
Price too.

Archy Chris, thanks for that "quote". For some reason I couldn't see the pictures initially. I've tried reloading to effort. Tonight I can! Weired, but glad you quoted the OP and showed me that there is a picture. Looks interesting and something to follow the development of.

Because we know you have new money coming in! We are developing LOTS of new parts for the FJ - several that are previewed here & others that are nearing that stage.

Re: All Pro FJ HD Steering Upgrade Preview

I just bent an inner tie rod and would love to fix it by putting these on...but I don't know if I can wait long enough. How close are you guys on these?

Keep us updated please!

LOL...

Terry, I'm surprised you haven't come up with two or three "Tax Rebate Packages". That all total... oh, $600 with shipping.

How funny... we were just talking about that today! We will be coming up with some "incentives" of our own here in the very near future
