FJ Cruiser Rock Jock Dana 60 Rear Housing

This is the new All-Pro / Currie Rock Jock Dana 60 rear end for the FJ, the ultimate cure for the broken rear ring & pinion sets common to the FJ with the stock rear end. Better clearance under the driveshaft is attained though the high pinion design, and the beefier 9.75" ring gear (compared to the 8" OEM Toyota setup) really adds strength. You also have less to get hung up on as the entire underside of the differential section is a smooth radius that slides over rocks, with NO LOSS OF GROUND CLEARANCE! And for those wondering about the brakes; it uses the factory setup, so the ABS and A-TRAC are fully functional. As a bonus, you also get a 3 position adjustable panhard mount bracket standard to keep your axle in the correct position regardless of the amount of lift you have installed.
We have 5 in stock! Order yours now!

Re: FJ Cruiser Rock Jock Dana 60 Rear Housing

So, this may be a big leap, but at what point in an FJC no longer an FJC??

Years ago, I owned a '47 CJ-2A, when I looked seriously at upgrading the engine, it pretty much meant upgrading the whole drive train, etc. It ended up looking like buying a used CJ-5, etc, and putting my freshly painted CJ-2A body on it somehow...

For specific needs this is great, but no info on once you beef up the axles, what stress you get on the drive line all the way back to the piston rings... Info on clutch plates, etc?

Are you the new guy at AllPro? Any intro for us slow people? Thanks!!!

Chris is relatively new at All-Pro. He is a college student who works part time for us taking product photos and doing web related tasks.
And the way things are progressing around here we'll have those heavy duty piston rings shortly. LOL

Jon, thanks for the reply.

Wish Chris the best there. Terry already bleed my wallet for most of your products. (have to send pict soon) Glad to know you keep moving forward.

Hopefully a few more miles before piston rings are needed... :-)

Thanks. Terry will still take your money, but if you send me some good shots of your FJ I'll see if I can't use it on the site.

Re: FJ Cruiser Rock Jock Dana 60 Rear Housing

Are driveshaft modifications required ? Price seems reasonable given the amount of work that must has gone into this.

Re: FJ Cruiser Rock Jock Dana 60 Rear Housing

Is any welding required? Or is it bolt up using stock links and what not. If you buy it with the gears and locker, does it come put together?
