ALL PRO saves summiteer and Continental Divide Expedition

I wanted to express my massive gratitude to the guys at All Pro for saving my butt in the middle of the summit...

For me the summit was a stop on a 40 day, 7500+ mile expedition through Canada and down the Continental Divide with 1leglance from Disabled Explorers. You can read more about the trip on my blog or the Disabled Explorer's website.

On the second day of the summit, both of my (stock) front shocks completely exploded leaving my FJ essentially undrivable and certainly not fit to complete the expedition.

Upon telling Terry and Jon from All Pro my predicament, they came through with a shiny new All Pro / Fox 2.5 system for the front and back of my FJ! Luckily since 1leglance and I were in the middle of a huge trip, we had loads of tools and had everything we needed to install the suspension system right there in the parking lot of the Best Western during the raffle on the last night of the summit!

New Fox 2.5 coilovers going in...

Big thanks to Mr. R2FJ who helped me with the install...

Installed and ready to go!

The performance of this system is completely sick. Here are some flex pics from the Continental Divide Expedition after the summit...

Also, thanks to the nice gentleman who lent us the floor jack and jackstands for the night (I did not catch your forum name!). The whole install could have been done with a HiLift, but that's unnecessarily dangerous when a proper jack and stands are available off the trail. Thanks!

THANKS ALL PRO!

Definitely a big thumbs up to all-pro. Larry (I think it was Larry?), John, and Terry all were extremely helpful and even got dirty late at night when we needed an extra hand with the install. Top notch company that obviously cares about their customers. Thanks again guys we appreciate it!

Thanks for the nice writeup, and now I have extra parts I carry on the trail (tie rod end castle nuts are now in my emergency kit!) "just in case" someone needs them. Thanks to Puulboy for the use of the Dremel to get those smashed ends removed & him back on the road!
