UCA questions

Hey... I'm looking to get some aftermarket UCAs. What are the rough outside dimensions compared to stock? I ask because my tires (37" BFG KM2's) just slightly rub my stock arms at the tip by the ball joint, and also at the forward edge when cranked hard. I just want to make sure they aren't any wider in these areas before I install some.

Re: UCA questions

from what I have seen the aftermarket are narrower with more clearance for coils and for sidewall of tire. my 33" rubs when suspension is extended over half way....so get shiny spot while wheeling....and light rust spot when staying on highway. good luck

x2 This is what they try to do. Allow more room for the tire so that you can get the alignment back to spec.

Re: UCA questions

I kind of figured as much. But the clearance issues are so tight, I just wanted to make sure. I'm hoping I can get rid of my 1/4" spacers with the aftermarket UCAs.

Re: UCA questions

They will provide more clearance at the inner sidewall that factory arms.

Re: UCA questions

How the hell did you fit a 37'' tire that is probably 12.50'' wide with a stock suspension?
