Re: By-pass oil filter kits

Brent,

I assume the parts you have listed above are specific for installation on the FJ?

The .pdf you have listed is a generic install, do you have specific instructions for the FJ?

Thanks

Re: By-pass oil filter kits

Yes, those are the parts need for FJ installation. You also need to chose your by-pass filter size. The EaBP100 would make total oil capacity to 7 quarts for convenience.

I don't have any specific instructions for the FJ. I don't think any FJ has the BMK21, so it's calling you

Re: By-pass oil filter kits

What's the best way to set up the oil return on the single kit?

Thanks

Re: By-pass oil filter kits

Two options are available for returning the filtered oil to the engine. The first uses a self-tapping hollow bolt (BP-40) and allows the oil to be returned to either the oil pan or a rocker arm/valve cover. The second, which uses an optional swivel fitting (BP-89), returns the oil to the oil filler cap already installed on your vehicle.

The oil filler cap is easier and more convenient.
