Re: I SPOTTED YOU in Arizona

Spotted a ti FJ with 18 rims, street tires, and personal LP that said "POET" around 7:00 AM on the N101 East bound.

Re: I SPOTTED YOU in Arizona

Soooooo. Which one of ya'll has the BC with 3in lift, Toyo MT's (I think, I was driving by fast) a light bar, and I think an ALL-PRO rear bumper with a big ass "Desert Rat" sticker on it? Also has the old school style white sticker stripe along the bottom of the door with the FJ logo. Nice Scrape on the drivers rear panel too.

I drove by your house today on the way to a job in your neighborhood, down in the area of AZ Ave and Chandler Heights.

Nice ride. BC looks good setup right like that.

Re: I SPOTTED YOU in Arizona

12/4 5pm-ish. Spotted the Gibson copy Trail Teams FJ headed west on 202 around Scottsdale Road. Thinking they were headed home to California. Through Phoenix traffic. On Friday at 5pm. Hah.

I saw him today about noon on the I -17. He didn't even wave when he went by right next to me. At least he used his turn signals when changing lanes. He was in the TRD all black with Gibson sticker and 4 huge lights on the roof.

Re: I SPOTTED YOU in Arizona

I saw half a dozen FJ Cruisers on my loop through town around rush hour today. I went up the 17 from downtown to Deer Valley Rd., and then west on the 101 back down into the west valley. I had FJ's rolling with me and passing opposite... no waves.

Re: I SPOTTED YOU in Arizona

Driving North from Patagonia, Lance and I passed an FJ coming the other way...

We're both dusty as hell, Lance has all kinds of gear on his roof rack and looks like he's been driving around the globe for 500 days... my rig is kinda F'd up lookin'...

He waved, I flashed my lights... nothing.

Re: I SPOTTED YOU in Arizona

saw a nice lifted yellow at the home depot near cave creek and cactus
in the parking lot waved not sure he saw through the tint ?

fabtech 6 inch 18 inch chrome wheels with I think 35 inch tires or something large on it and a arb front bumper
personal plates something like cabovr or something ?? forgot the plate

looked nice in person a lot beefier than I thought since I have not seen a 6 inch lift in person on a FJ yet

Re: I SPOTTED YOU in Arizona

those little mercedes not the one speedy posted but the teeeeeeny ones called Smart cars were on Maui a long time ago testing them out since Maui was a closed place and Kapalua has so much to do with Meredes they had two of them there where my wife worked in marketing dept
I used to see em everyday
now they are more common ;

the ones speedy linked to are the new A series I think ? I know they are bringing them in 2009 and going to have the blutec in them and the 160 CDI bluetec is going to make it get around 50-60 MPG would be a nice commuter rig

I have lost faith in MB though dumped our S class we had here for the FJ and so so so happy so not sure I will get another MB again ever ?
