Sounds like the guy we met there a few weeks ago. Although he didn't have his FJ with him that day he made it a point to hang around ours until we came out! His name is Lance and it sounds exactly like what he was describing his truck as...he does a lot of Baja-type runs and was able to follow and assist some of the trucks in the Baja 3000. We told him to come to the boards but I don't think he ever did

Passed what was probably his residence in Gilbert. Around Hawes and Guadalupe.

I was waiting to go to a meeting today, and I stopped for coffee in Scottsdale. I parked outside a "Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf" and while sippng coffee and staring blankly at traffic from a patio chair, someone parked a sun fusion with no roof rack nose to nose with my rig. There were plenty of other spots, so this was definitely a wave-in-absentia.

It was a statement.

The statement was "hi!"
