Re: Four Peaks Trail Cleanup Feb. 9th

I'm in. I think we need to try and do more of this. Those areas need it, badly.

Re: Four Peaks Trail Cleanup Feb. 9th

WOW! Thank you for the support guys! I'm a Toyota guy so seeing that FJ hurt. It was most likely stolen and burned. Nothing was missing from it. Tires, wheels, motor, drivetrain etc. The Forest Service has been contacted and they have alerted the Sheriff. We'll clean everything, but the vehicles. They are technically a crime scene. There is so much trash out there that we should be plenty busy.

Re: Four Peaks Trail Cleanup Feb. 9th

Mark us down as tentative. Feb. 9th - I just have to check my calendars, I feel like we have something going on that day, but I'm just not sure. That is in our backyard, so we would like to help keep it clean.

Re: Four Peaks Trail Cleanup Feb. 9th

A couple of updates!

Good Gun Foundation has donated some money to the cause as a giveaway! As well as some members coming to help. I'm excited to see responsible shooters step up.

Oakley has given some sun glasses to give away.

The Tacoma Territory, Xterra Owners Club , Copper state cruisers, and Virtual Jeep Club have stepped up to make it an official run of theirs!

The Copper State Cruisers have stepped up with a giant grill that can cook 80 burgers at a time! YIKES thats a lot of cow. mmmm!

Some folks are bringing a rake if they can. Its not a neccessity, but it will help with the shells and glass being picked up!

The Forest Service is going to bring a couple of Roll Off Dumpsters too!

Tim

Re: Four Peaks Trail Cleanup Feb. 9th

Hopefully we can make a dent in the asthetics of the area! It's pretty bad, but with our types of folks out pitching in we will definitely help! It should be pretty impressive! Thanks for posting this SOAZ!
