Re: AZ sunflower mine trail

I've been up that trail twice. If you know your vehicle, you'll be fine. I've done it with people who are open/open and no rock armor (who know their rigs well) and the only problem they had was some tire spinning on rocks.

Here's my friend, Mike, open/open and no rock armor... spinning tires on rocks on Sunflower mine trail:

Here's a guy who had to disable his rear axle by removing the driveshaft because he killed his rear ring and pinion... on Sunflower, the same day, but that's wheelin' for ya!:

It's a SUPER pretty spot. It's TOTALLY worth going there. It's good wheeling with only a few crux obstacles of moderate difficulty for stock or mildly modified daily drivers.

Re: AZ sunflower mine trail

It's a pretty basic trail, but if it starts to rain as predicted, it could get intersiting. There are several water crossings.
