We would like to invite any wheelers on the FJ Cruiser Forums to join us for the sixth annual AzRocks event. This post is not meant to pimp our club, site, or forum, just an honest invitation to wheel with other Toys. The Copper State Cruisers usually attend, and we’ve also had FJCs attend. If Don (puulboy) hangs out here, he can confirm it’s just about wheeling for me. Anyway, I hope that explains why this is my first post....on to the details.
We have planned two days of wheeling for all Toyota 4WD vehicles. The trails will accommodate the new owner who has never been off pavement all the way to trails that are guaranteed to make a veteran wheeler pucker.
No big BBQ; No big Raffle; Our motto is Shutup And Wheel. The focus is on having more Toyota owners participate in order to learn how to practice responsible recreation and how to preserve our public lands for future access. The amenities we provide are totally funded from event t-shirt sales. No fee or registration is required. We run rain or shine.
This a TTORA event. NO ALCOHOL WHILE ON THE TRAIL!!! When local laws prohibit drinking and driving, those same laws are applicable to any TTORA event. All violators will be asked to comply immediately, or leave the event. Please don’t put my trailmasters in this position!
If you think you might attend, a permit is required and you should plan about two weeks ahead to get one via the mail. The links and address (for the last minute folks) is on our website.
The event is held in a remote area where all services (including motels) are 10-17 miles away. The site is accessible with campers or motorhomes. Don’t worry if you are arriving after dark, when have excellent signage to help you find the campsite.
Since I'm a newb I can't post a link, so here's the website address:

I was out there with Don last year and we both had a ball.
I'm glad we didn't have to camp with everyone else in that dust, though.
The major kudos go to whoever it was that played air traffic controller to all the groups doing different Florence Junction trails in the same days. It could have been grid lock in the canyons but it WASN'T!!

Glad to hear that you had a good time. The finger gets pointed at me this time...luckily I have help from my VP, Carlos Gonzales (of ToyBox Auto). He going to help us have better organized runs this year.

Thanks Sean. I've enjoyed reading the trail reports you posted. Have you posted any for Willow?

Mark- Oh yeah, we're going again. AZ Rocks is one of the best events goin' on in AZ. It would be nice to see a few more FJs this year. I'll never forget Heatstroke's 9 hour coke ovens run!

Ah, the memories of that place. my brother and I had to walk out of there, on foot, to the main road and walk all the way back. My older brother forgot to put the tire wrench back in the truck. It was not fun but we did bag two javelina's and saw the biggest BUCK I have ever seen. I couldn't imagine that it would be out there with all the weekend ATV and OFF road riders.

Most interesting thing I've seen in that area was a gila monster - first one in my 30 some years here.
