This was just a stupid amount of fun today. Trail tools, carnage, tow straps, winches, body damage... we saw a little bit of everything out there (despite only having only completed a small portion of the whole trail).

Great to see/meet everybody! woohoo!!

How much fun was it watching that guy with the IFS pickup use his body panels as traction surfaces?

Did you notice that he's completely removed the shocks from his rear end? He's floating on springs alone. It illustrates a point that I've been trying to make here for a long time. People get all up in arms about shocks, but the only important thing about them when you're doing tougher trails is that they don't limit the spring travel! He didn't miss the shocks for even a moment... at least on the trail. It might have been sporty driving back down 88, but on the trail he was fine.

These dudes are totally lagging. You know if I wasn't the doofus that forgot the camera, we'd already be looking at my uploads because I've been here on the computer screwing around with it plenty long enough to have DONE THAT!
