So.....I've told a few of you guys I F'ed up my shoulder....Well it's bad enough to need a pretty major surgery....4/3/08 7:00a.m.....repair rotator cuff.....shave bone.....remove loose carlilage......re-attatch tendon....
Needless to say....I will need DRUGS!!!!! Lot's of drugs.....So if you talk to me on the 4th.....I'll be high as hell.....so be nice to me.... even if I'm NOT!!!
The same surgeon who has worked on my knees is doing the operation.....He is the one who said it'll hurt like hell....I'm scared
Knee surgery sucks yo. What did you have done to your knee?
15 years ago I was putting a Jacuzi into the deck we built.....I fell UNDER the Jacuzi......15 scopes later and I have no cartilage left and both knee caps are fake....and they still don't work right.....but I didn't exactly follow the Dr.'s orders of staying off the legs
Youchy, had ACL reconstruction twice in the same knee. Excersicing and stretching is the best things for healing i have found. Good luck with your surgery, i'll be praying for ya to have a speedy recovery.
Percocet is the best stuff for right after surgeries i have found.
Ouch. I'm sorry to hear. I know how it is. I layed up for a month or so last year when I took a rock to the face. Morphine works, but I have terrible side effects with it. Motion sickness and vomiting comes to mind...
Pay really close attention to the rehab. Have a good trainer/therapist. It'll pay dividends toward mobility and quality of life. Don't just recover passively.

Best of luck to you!! I have had one unsuccessful and one successful surgery on the same arm......I am also waiting to go under the knife for a 3rd time.....And Yes!, It hurts. "Keep her on all 4rs, and sometimes 3!"
