BajaRack Fuel Can Holders (Finally)

Hello Guys,

We have finally completed the Fuel Can Holders or Jerry Can Holders. Our delay was due to the latching mechanism that we tried and did not like until one of our engineers (Charlie) came out with a solution that meets our criteria and also the Patent paperwork.
The frame is made of 1/8” steel, MIG welded together for a solid foundation, it attaches to the floor of ANY of our racks (including the EXP Roof Top Tent Version) with 4 1/8” steel feet that bolt together (see attached picture)
When the Gas cans are removed the frame is the only thing left on the rack.

We took the pictures on a Mule rack (our smallest 39”wide x 48”long x 6” tall) see attached picture:

The cover of the fuel cans was design to prevent somebody from opening your fuel cans and steeling your gas and YES you can use a lock.

We have tested this product under offroad conditions with no vibration or noise what so ever, it is solid and the finish on the metal is Zinc undercoating with black powder coating.

The fuel cans use for these pictures are:
Blitz Jerry Can has 5 gallon capacity and is approved by the Department of Transportation. Dimensions: 13l x 6-1/2w x 18-1/2h

The price for the dual fuel can holder is $97.00 plus shipping (approximately $18.00), as we always due with new products we will do a group buy for 10 at $80.00 plus shipping, please e-mail your request to sales@bajarack.com

We will come out with a single fuel can holder in the near future.

Cheers

Re: BajaRack Fuel Can Holders (Finally)

Good question, what is the spacing between the cross members?

A HA, that is exactly what i was looking for and wanting Sergio.

Something that when no cans were mounted, would sit lower than the rack sides.
If we are doing a group buy, count me in.

Are these can specific? In other words, with the accept both scepter and wedco (steel) style cans?

Just from looking at the pictures, it would seem that the Wedco's would fit, and the scepters would be a maybe, due to the wide mouth of the Scepters. If i was closer, i'd let you borrow a couple of mine, i have some scepters and wedcos. Regardless, it would look like only a slight modification to the top clamp would be needed if either/or slightly didnt fit. Keep up the great work Sergio!
