My outlook on life....take 1.

Posted 04-16-2008 at 07:25 PM by FJDave
If it ain't fun, it ain't worth doin'.

You can always tell a sergeant - you just can't tell him much!

I'm a career grump. Get over it.

If I'm having fun, I ain't a grump.

So, let's go wheeling, wrench on an FJ, and have some fun!!

I was ready to pick up a new ARB bumper last week. Oscarr was able to find a good deal for me. I just didn't have it in me to pull the trigger.

For months, I've been set on getting it. I never saw an ARB front I didn't like on any rig. It has a classic aggressive look to it from a good company. The first time I saw one in person was at Meet & Greet III on Tubig's rig and I knew then I wanted one in the future.

When making upgrade decisions, it's hard to balance...

Without each piece, the view would be subtly different. Some things are too large to be seen. Others are too small to be appreciated, but they are still there and combine to make what we see and experience special.

Zoe

Posted 04-16-2008 at 07:15 AM by taltyman
Hard times in Taltyland. A couple of months ago we lost our best friend Pecos, an Australian Shepherd. He and Zoe (a mixed stray that wandered up a few years back) were the sentinels on our 10 acres. The 2 of them were best buds and kept the coyotes and roaming dogs off our place. After losing Pecos it was left to Zoe to guard our place. Mind you we never taught her to do this. It was like it was her mission in life. At any rate a week or so ago I went to feed the horses and there she was...
