Are the forums, the chat, and PMs not a good enough way to communicate...? Why do we ALSO have a blog?

Why a blog . . .Well, in a forum setting it is kind of strange, but what I could see a blog being good for is for peoples FJ upgrade/mod details. Basically instead of creating a loooooooong running thread, you create a blog and and the blog post can be specific to each upgrade/mod you do (e.g. Snorkel install, Suspension lift etc.)
