New Front bumper will have to wait....
I was ready to pick up a new ARB bumper last week. Oscarr was able to find a good deal for me. I just didn't have it in me to pull the trigger.
For months, I've been set on getting it. I never saw an ARB front I didn't like on any rig. It has a classic aggressive look to it from a good company. The first time I saw one in person was at Meet & Greet III on Tubig's rig and I knew then I wanted one in the future.
When making upgrade decisions, it's hard to balance form over function. I asked myself, "what will this investment do for me?" It won't make me wheel more or less. I'm not big on rock crawling so I'm not looking for protection from the unavoidable. Recently, there was a big thread on ARB vs Demello. Mir207 wrote many pros about the ARB:

I still think I'll get a new front in the future. The other weekend, I painted the silver parts on my front Tupperware. My wife was shocked to see the real bumper behind the plastic cover. I think she'll feel safer when I upgrade to more steel in front.
So for the same amount of money, I'm working on a FJC nose like Dragon's Taira. Taira was the first fixed up FJC I ever saw online. I still visit the pics from the build up thread quite often. Taira is just so awesome. I got 4 IPF lights coming tomorrow. Dakar bar is coming next week. To 'top' it all off, I'll be getting the new WAAG roof top basket.
So I'm a happy camper. By passing on the ARB front, I get more lights, new look, and more storage. I forgot to mention the new Scan Gauge II in front of me.
My cousin called me yesterday and said I had an expensive hobby and then invited himself to my next camping run.
