I brought lunch

Posted 06-02-2008 at 12:04 PM by pokerDawg
With gas prices climbing and the fact I don't have an economy gas car. I decided to start bringing food from home. I spend $10 a day buying coffee and lunch. I can't stop putting gas in the car but maybe I can lose some weight and save some money being more conscious about my lunch.

Posted 04-25-2008 at 12:43 PM by pokerDawg
My wife and I use to spend between $400 to $500 in gas a month. She recently got a job close to home so she rarely needs to get gas anymore. I on the other hand drive 34 miles a day and it cost roughly $9 to $10 a day with current gas prices. I calculated this manually and it was eventually confirmed using my new Scan Gauge II. With gas prices continuing to rise, I'm debating if I should get a gas saving vehicle.

Based on current factors, it cost me $220 a month to drive either...

Last week I went over to WAAG in Van Nuys to pick up their new roof rack basket. I really enjoyed going over there and seeing them in action.

I had the pleasure to meet with the owner, his daughter, and his staff. Gary was really great to speak with. I'm just another car owner out of thousands but he made time to listen and shares his ideas. He brought me in to see one of their CNC pipe bending machines do multiple bends in seconds. We spoke like we've known each other for...

New Front bumper will have to wait....

I was ready to pick up a new ARB bumper last week. Oscarr was able to find a good deal for me. I just didn't have it in me to pull the trigger.

For months, I've been set on getting it. I never saw an ARB front I didn't like on any rig. It has a classic aggressive look to it from a good company. The first time I saw one in person was at Meet & Greet III on Tubig's rig and I knew then I wanted one in the future.

When making upgrade decisions, it's hard to balance...
