Here is what I have so far to mount and so radio survey work on my FJ.

The remote controlled mount is kinda weak and may be broken now, but the idea is to have a good pan/tilt range and almost 360 degree of rotational movement.

I mounted the swivel to the two oblong rack parts that came with my FJ by drilling holes through them and bolting it on.

The cables just kind of run straight into the back, no special runs yet.

I am staring a project this year to install a bunch of radio stuff.

I want to do something like the following in my FJ:

iPhone integration w/stock stereo including seemless mount and control from stock buttons on steering wheel.

HD Radio integration maybe Dice?

XM Radio integration

HAM/CB integration with one, two or three antenna mounts, probably the Bandi mount plus some.

UNI/ISM band data antenna integration...
