BudBuilt saved my Bottom...

Thanks Bud for getting the skids out so fast and your help with missing hardware. They were put into action the first day on MoabRim. I have no lift, so I ordered the skid set as some insurance as there was no time to do much more. They are pretty scraped up since that was a 4.5 rated trail (armor and lift). Mrs. Moab , Tony, and Jim D. spotted me through and the plates proved themselves over and over.

Not better, just less smarts. A few obstacles were optional, this one was not (if I wanted to get back)...made for an exciting trip though!

Re: BudBuilt saved my Bottom...

That is the nice thing about stock bumers; They kind of move out of the way so you can go anywhere.

I can't wait to see the "Mod Phase" of this FJ, and good job of breaking her in!

Here is the only shot I have coming out...

My hitch to the brunt of it, bottom of my rear bumper is scuffed, but my lower front bumper is totally thrashed. I had a replacement from MoabRat before I even went on this trip. Much scarier shots of others doing the crack here:
Moab, 2nd annual Columbus Day trip!
