I can offer an additional testimonial to Bud Built skids. They're wide, they provide maximum protection to the undercarriage of the FJ and mine are every bit as beat up as yours are.

If you bend them, unbolt them and drive back and forth over them until they're straight again and then bolt 'em back into place!

I wouldn't have anything else under my FJ - and for many saves, I can say -- THANKS BUD!

Kind of a good news/bad news story: After an entire season of beating the crap out of their skids, the Trail Teams are reusing theirs from 07 on their 08 trucks. And THEY have seen some abuse...


Great for bragging rights about how tough they are, but that is 9 more sets we won't be selling. ( actually, we did send them one new set with the beefier version of the gas tank skid. Will see where that ends up and how much abuse it takes)
