Installed! Thanks Bud!

So 6 months after getting the skids from Bud we finally put the last piece in.

Thanks Bud for the long term support on getting this installed... a combination of FedEx dropping the shipment & the installer's (me) inexperience made the the installation process span 6 months.

Thanks Bud for being patient with us, the truck now has yet more yellow bits..

PS. anyone has any recommendation on where the sticker should go? white sticker doesnt really show well on yellow skids..

Re: Installed! Thanks Bud!

You are totally welcome! I'd love some pics of the installed yellow ones if you could!

Really would like to thank Sbechtold for this one! He volunteered to help with the install since he was about 3000 miles closer than I was!

We have black, neon green and red stickers that may work better for you. Lemme know and we'll get them right out to you!
Thanks again!
Bud

Congrats on getting the remaining gas tanks skid installed! I always know when I see a Yellow FJC with Yellow skids that it's you. It looks great!

Yes.. I owe you some pictures.. However...

It's not very exciting when the truck isnt lifted

a few install pics:

Gas skids (I still need to touch up the part where FedEx dropped it)

Hopefully this weekend at Big Bear Lake we can get some interesting action shots that can show the skids better...

Thank you for finding out what the problem was and help fixed it.

Also thanks a lot for the tips on installing the gas skid.. Even though it took us another few weeks to finally get to it (I hate living on the slopes) the actually install time was only like half an hour..

Talking Re: Installed! Thanks Bud!

The sticker made it before we left for Southern CA

This is at the trail team beginner run:

Probably left some yellow paint on the trail, too.

After the run I pulled a 1" long metal shaving off one of the skids.. so it definitely did its job!
