Buds Installed!

Installed some Buds yesterday after work with a buddy of mine!!

Off with the old (Pile of junk!!)

On with the new!

Found these bent parts while under there, Probably from last weeks fun on that big rock up in MASS!

The first bent part I am taking care of with a set of Demello LCA skids that are on order, Wont be in before the Rausch Creek run on the 29th.
Not sure what to do about the other one besides just straightening out for now.
Also installing "The Toy Outfitters" heavy duty LCA's tomorrow, they were waiting for me when I got home tonight!

The lift made it easier for two people to install the skids, I would think that if you were doing it alone that you would be better off doing it on the ground, lying on your back.

And in case you want to know how much your FJC weighs go here.....
FJ CRUISER WEIGHT: Four corner breakdown
I have weighed mine about 6 times. Each time after I add something to it. I need to have the mods update this area again for me to reflect the skids being added.

Re: Buds Installed!

Have my buds painted, now need to find time to slap them on. How long did it take you to remove and install? When I was ordering my skids Bud told me he was getting in yellow decals. Might check to see if he'll send you some.

Lying on your back alone......Probably around 2 1/2 hours.
Make sure you apply LOTS of "Never Sieze" to ALL of the bolts!
Will make your life that much easier when it's time to remove them for maintenance.
Yellow stickers would be cool!..... Bud are you out there?..........
