What to do with empty propane cylinders?

What do you do with empty 16.4oz propane cylinders? Can they be refilled or are they one time use?

Don't stick em in a land fill. Re-fill them with this.

I fill mine all the time. I only have problems with the refilled ones in the winter when it's really really cold as they leak a bit

I refill mine as well. (small green bottles) I actually just bought 2.5 gallon bottles and run my stuff off refillable bottles. Much cheaper and good for the environment.

I just throw them out. I can buy 2 cans for about $5.00 its not worth spending all the extra money to refill them.

Re: What to do with empty propane cylinders?

one use here AND to dispose of them you take them to the disposal centre ... to me, it ain't worth the risk of refilling anyway, given they're relatively cheap to buy ...

I like to shoot mine with 5.56 tracer rounds (from a safe distance). If there is any residual propane left in there it looks real pretty
