Re: Show me your roof top tents

I have a Columbus for sale in the Want to Sell section....it is the one I wanted for building a wheelchair accessible trailer but that project will have to wait till after the Continental Divide Expedition...
So if you want a killer deal and to help support Disabled Explorers search ebay for Autohome Columbus and you will find it!

Re: Show me your roof top tents

Boss73,

You asked for larger pics.

kcfunke,

We like the larger size, plenty of room. Drives no worse considering all the tire size, metal bumper, etc

Re: Show me your roof top tents

OK, I am not crazy afterall
I had posted on here that I had seen a set of Yakima crossbars mounted directly to the roof of the FJ sometime here in the past.

The thread resurfaced yesternight, and it is now bookmarked.
http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...ima-racks.html

Here is how they look.

I will have to contact him and see if three crossbars will sit level enough on the roof to support my Maggiolina AirLand tent or not.

If so, this will lower the tent much closer to the roof, and increase the handling of my rig in the wind.

Updated pics

All I had were driveway shots before of the tent when it was opened up.
Here are a few pictures from my vacation up at Mt. Rainier I posted elsewhere back in August.

100% happy with the Maggiolina AirLand.
