Re: SCEPTER Military 20L Fuel Cans

SCEPTER gas cans are super. I carry five of them when I go into the Sierra Madre's in Mexico. Even in extreme heat they swell but do not leak. I also purchased a fill nozzle from Brigade QM. The nozzle comes in a nice carrying bag.

cheers,

dale

Re: SCEPTER Military 20L Fuel Cans

You can see that it has a cheap closure and will probably leak unlike the
Scepter.

Re: SCEPTER Military 20L Fuel Cans

Check out "cheaperthandirt" Nato military fuel cans for $14.97 each. Ordered two, plus one nozzle.

Re: SCEPTER Military 20L Fuel Cans

These seem to be narrow. Just curious as to how you strap these down on the stock roof rack? and do they seem to ride ok w/o movement?

Re: SCEPTER Military 20L Fuel Cans

Bought 2 cans and the nossle. Thanks for posting the coupon link. Saved me $13 shipping. Why is that dang nossle so expensive ($30)? I hope there's more to it than appears in the on-line picture.

Now I just have to figure out how to mount them. I'm sure there is lots of discussion on this to be mined.

I saw that no one had gotten a picture posted. This is the nozzle I bought and the case is sort of a plastic tarp-like material. The flap has a velcro tab on it.
