Xshade hitchmount canopy.

Does anybody have any experience with one of these? Doesn't seem like it throws much of shade but looks usefull. Found it at Sam's Club.

Thumbs up Re: Xshade hitchmount canopy.

That's a cool idea. (no pun intended) I wonder how small it compacts down to. That'd be mighty handy for my outdoor DJ/MC gigs that don't have nice shaded pavilions. I refuse to shop at anything owned by the Wal-Mart enterprise, so I'll have to see if somewhere else carries it.

Howls,
FJ Wolf

Found it at other retailers but its anywhere from $139 to $249....and they all look the same. I wonder if there is a difference? Will have to go and look at them.

Re: Xshade hitchmount canopy.

Interesting idea, but, if I needed that much coverage, I'd get a free standing canopy for $100 instead, because it costs less, allows more flexibility for set up location and doesn't use the hitch that I may need for other purposes.

Man we could have used one of those yesterday when the Hurricanes met in Hammond. It was HOT in that parking lot. Tincan had an umbrella that I stood under to beat the heat.

Yep your right...could get a bigger canopy for less dinero and have the option to use it anywhere. I dont think I could open the rear door and close it without removing the canopy also. Maybe if they were bigger??

Re: Xshade hitchmount canopy.

Have to agree with swing on this one. I have two E/Z ups that I use. THe bigger i always bring camping with me. Its a 12 X 14 and works great. THe best thing about it is that I do not have to have the FJ near where I want to set it up...
