Re: Forget roof top tents, I want this!!!

The website states $28,000-$36,000 AUD, which is about $21,000 to $28,000 US dollar.

A Tvan will set you back at least $28,000—AU$36,000—which is Lamborghini territory in this market.

Wowsers!
I can see the MPG of an FJ dragging that thing around in rough country being slightly worse than a Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

Why is the price of $100k keep coming up? That's NOT the price of this thing.

Super cool camper. Wow! But like in the last sentence of the article I wouldn't want to pull a trailer, so I would take this. Even has solar power. Why doesn't the U.S. ever get these kind of cool things?:

EarthRoamer: when nature calls ? squob | RVs | campers | travel trailers

Now this I like!

If they had a kit of the FJC and I had $11k to blow, I'd probably do that.

Mini-living room, queen sized bed, furnace, solar panels, hot showers and a toilet. All it needs is A/C for camping in hot southern states.

Re: Forget roof top tents, I want this!!!

Would be funny seeing someone with a tent that cost more then their FJ . Just my 2¢.

Looks like an M997 Field Littler Ambulance (FLA). HMMWV variant.
