Hehehehe cool..... How do you carry that piece of plywood around?
I shift the ply wood over on the rack and bolt down into the channel.
The large channels are 8mm and the smaller are 6mm. I used 8mm for securing the plywood to the rack. 2 front and 2 rear. Plus a rachet strap as a safety precaution. The plywood piece is 3ft x 7ft...I could cut it in half, but since I don't care and it really is just for the Kokopelli trip, I will not cut it.

Man I'm just jealous that you can lean a roof rack up against the side of your rig without worrying about scratching it!
Scratches...WTF are those ...didn't even notice I had it up against the rig...shows you how much I care

Hey, that's pretty cool. Tell us more about the rack itself?

See that happy little kid on the hood. Kid's dig treehouse's and the ghetto RTT is just like a treehouse. That's reason enough! Sweet rig.

Re: Behold, The Ghetto RTT

Me thinks we need to merge the two ghetto RTT threads into one.

Re: Behold, The Ghetto RTT

THe rack it self is from SLee offroad...its expensive argg I didn't realize this in my original post but man I need something a bit more utilitarian with my business I'm starting up so its damn tempting to just splurge and get the rack..... but for that price I'm closer to getting an inchworm and dealing with the scorpians! NOt to discredit this cool mod AL did, but YIKES...

$1000-1200 or so ekk!! Slee should drop the price on that thing who are they kiddin?

Re: Behold, The Ghetto RTT

I like the rack, how do you like it so far. Anything you don't like about it?

Just think when you aren't using your tent the slide outs would be perfect for an awning.
